So it’s 2016 and political candidates now release apps to energize, motivate and educate voters through gamification.

The current Democrat and Republican candidates to become the 45th President of the United States have both released their own apps.

Donald Trump’s even made it to the top 5 of the App Store recently.

The app is available as a free download in the Apple App Store and on Google Play and get great ratings on both platforms.

Former First Lady and US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton released her’s earlier.

The Hillary 2016 app is a free download on iOS and the Android version came later.

Through the app, you get to be in charge of a digital regional office for the Hillary 2016 campaign. You’re responsible to transform it into an active campaign HQ. You can buy upgrades like new posters, office furniture, art, and more, by collecting starts—the game’s in-app currency. But you don’t pay real money for stars: you earn them by performing microtasks in the app.
