Longer Video: The photo-sharing social media site now allows videos up to one minute long. The previous limit was 15 seconds, which is still longer than 10 seconds on Snapchat and 6 seconds on Twitter. Video is BIG and many social media sites are capitalizing on it. The roll out is ongoing so, don’t get too excited yet as all account do not yet have the feature.

Like Count Starts at 4: The struggle to get to 11 likes before Instagram starts showing the number of likes versus the handles of the accounts that liked you image is over. Instagram now starts counting at 4. This roll out is also ongoing. Some of our images have it on one account and another may not. And as The NextWeb notes, the change cleans up the layout and makes “it a nanosecond faster to scroll through your feed without lines of long usernames.”

Multi-Clip Video: Now this is a game changer for editors. You can now join multiple clips together and skip the steps of exporting clips to an external editor, putting a video together there then uploading it on the site. This option will only be available on the iOS version of the app and is rolling out in an update this week.
