This is genius!
Pizza Hut restaurants in Hong Kong deliver more than just pizza but a movie projector as well and a movie.
From the creative minds of the Hong Kong division of the international public relations firm Ogilvy comes this creative ad stunt.
Customers order their pizza, creatively called a “Blockbuster Box,” which is delivered in one of four themed boxes ( Slice Night for horror fans, Anchovy Armageddon for science-fiction, Hot & Ready for romance, and Fully Loaded for an action flick).
After delivered, they remove the pizza, punch out a cut out in the side, insert a lens that comes inside the delivery boxes. Then, using a smart phone, the customer scans a QRC code on the side of the box which downloads one of four movies, depending on the box selected. The customer then sets up his smartphone on a tiny stand inside the box, pushes play, closes the box and while in a very dark room watches the movie as it is projected from the box projector onto a blank wall.
Very unique and creative!
