It’s time again for a social media roundup into all the new changes and updates from the week.
Twitter nixed the favorite button which comes with a star and replaced it with a like button and a heart emoticon. Not all like it. We do. Feel the love. People hate change but they’ll get over it. More at CNN Money
Facebook is helping out event organizers realize who is really “maybe” coming and who is just thinking on it and on the edge. No longer will there be a maybe option in the RSVP section of Facebook events. Now users click “interested” if they are on the fence and can still get updates from the event from their feed as the event nears.
That’s also a good way for possible attendees to keep reminded about the event. More at The Next Web
The social networking preferred platform for 380 million business people and biz owners, LinkedIn announced some major upcoming changes to its mobile app.
The new “Home” will give users curated content in their newsfeed and enable them to discard content they don’t care to see. The “Me” page will make it easier for users to manage their profile and brand.
Also, the site is updating its inbox by nixing it in place of a new a messenger option. More at TechCrunch!
We spotted this new feature over the Halloween weekend: curated news feed of the “best of” video posts with the most comments and likes. They auto scroll after you view it, keeping you on the site longer and giving great exposure to those featured.
Re/Code described it as a sort of Snapchat Live. We can dig it. We ended up reposting and following some of the great videos we peeped while scrolling through this weekend. More at Re/Code

Speaking of Snapchat, the social platform preferred by tweens, teens and GenX ers unvieled new filters that let users take advantage of slow motion, fast forward or rewind features.
It’s kind of like the new Boomerang feature that Instagram added recently. These sites are just parroting one another. Cool stuff. More at Tech Crunch.
Valued at $11 billion and with 100 million users, Pinterest now has a Pinterest shop. It’s an upgrade from buyable pins. Before, if you wanted to score that cute shirt, you had to click the button and be taken off site but now you can purchase directly from the shop.
