If you’ve ever managed an event or campaign, you’d want to know when, who and how it was used in various social media sites to help you ascertain metrics and success. Currently, there are several services that gather that data for social media campaign organizers but not all are easy and intuitive.
HashAtIt is a relatively new site and app that solves the problem.
Adopting the tagline, “The Social Search Engine,” the creators of the desktop and mobile app touts the service as “the first social media search engine that gives users a way to gather information on any metadata tags (#hashtags) from popular social networks, collecting all the results in one place.”
By just plugging in the hashtag in its desktop, facebook or mobile app, the service searches Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Pinterest or all of the above for the hashtag’s usage.
Another plus is that the output can be embedded in a document, blog post, web page or another platform for easy sharing of results.
To us, it comes off as a simpler version of Storify. The interface is simple and user-friendly and can be tailored by users, who can also filter out irrelevant posts.
We like! Check it out! Download the app for the iOS platform HERE! The Android version launches soon.
