Social Media platforms are juggling and experimenting with new methods to get more business accounts to spend money on ads. Twitter, for example, is Beta testing a new flat fee option where it randomly promotes posts on a user’s account for a flat $99 per month.
That’s not a bad option for a lean startup or business with a modest marketing budget.
Instead of creating and optimizing separate Twitter Ads campaigns yourself, this program will do the heavy lifting, a FAQ on the introduction page reads. “You just need to continue using Twitter as you normally do — Tweeting updates, links, and media that you want a larger audience to see. Then, the promotion of your Tweets will be automated.”
The First 10 posts will be automatically promoted, but Retweets, Quotes, Or Replies are not included. The Tweets are promoted to people with similar interests to what you Tweet about or to people in your metro area.
Users can check on how well the tweets are doing by logging onto the analytics page.
If you get an invitation to join, simply accept and Twitter does the rest. At the end of the 30-Day Trial period, it automatically bills the user $99 for the service and that amount thereafter.
